How to use "randomness" and "chance" with Psycards to explore different possibilities
It is one thing to select the cards we think best talk to our psychic makeup and meditate on them. It is quite another to let shuffling the back, and drawing cards at random, as part of our reading.
Chance and randomness are too key elements in all our lives. They are important elements in Psycards too. But they need to be used very carefully in order to be effective tools for helping us understand our psyches clearly, and letting our inner mental strength positively impact our external physical worlds.
Start introducing chance slowly into your use of Psycards. Take the particular situation or problem you wish to explore. Pick the cards that you think best represent that situation and arrange them appropriately. Now shuffle the cards and pick another one at random. What does this card bring to the situation? Does it help shed light on it? Does it point at a particular course of action? Does it suggest a particular dimension you might have dismissed before?
The new element introduced by the new card may be a course of action you decide to reject. The point is that by repeating this process, you open your mind to a new set of possibilities. Even if you reject these, the very fact you've explored them will help you better understand the core situation, and be better placed to evaluate it and decide on the best path forwards.
