Darkness can sometimes make you whole
While the Cave card is very dark, it can have a very positive meaning.
The Cave represents withdrawl from the outside world, for introspection, solo thinking and germination. Seeds, after all, are born in the dark under the soil. The Cave is the place to which we retreat to get our heads straight and devise a plan before re-engaging with a problem. It can represent the womb from which we all came — the protective, warm place of security we need to return to periodically to recharge and rebalance.
The Cave represents the "me-time" which we all crave in the hectic modern world.
